Can you answer the tough questions about abortion?

On the BreakPoint Podcast, Shane Morris and I got the following question from a listener: Since God “aborts” millions of fertilized eggs every day, why should we prevent mothers from aborting babies with severe deformities that will kill them moments after birth?

Before we can answer, we must clarify what we’re talking about. According to medical science and embryology, a fertilized egg is a genetically distinct human being. Less developed than a 2-year-old or an 80-year old, but no less human.

Then let’s ask this: If millions of people die every day, why are we against murder? See the parallel? We know it is always wrong to take innocent human life.

There’s more to say about this question—and we want to teach you how to respond to this and other tough questions about abortion. So come to BreakPoint.org and register for our Short Course: Champion Life: How to oppose Abortion and Defend the Unborn. It starts September 8.
