Legislators in Massachusetts will consider a bill to remove restrictions on late-term abortions, and eliminate the requirement that doctors must attempt to preserve the life of babies who survive abortion.

According to Christian Headlines, current state law mandate that doctors try to save the life of a baby survivor. This new bill, which has the support of House leaders, requires only that life-saving equipment be available to “enable” the doctors to save the baby if they so choose.

This is monstrous.

Last month, here in Colorado, too many pastors refused to speak when we had a chance to end late-term abortions in the state. They didn’t want to get political. Massachusetts pastors, don’t miss the opportunity to confront a grave evil in your state. Speak up. Use your pulpit to mobilize Christians to save lives.

This is not political. It’s Christian. It’s not Democrat or Republican. It’s about saving children left to die on an operating table.
