The Point

The Point: Abortion Madness

Democratic legislators continue to push radical abortion legislation. The latest state trying to make it easier to kill babies is Rhode Island. The so-called Reproductive Health Care Act there would allow “abortion for any reason before fetal viability and stipulates that the state may not restrict abortion after that point ‘when necessary to preserve the health or life of that individual.’” Of course, the health of the individual is not clearly defined. But these Democratic lawmakers, in their rush to promote abortion rights are running counter to the wishes of their own constituents. Only 22 percent of likely voters in this heavily Democratic state believe abortion should be legal at any stage of pregnancy. A whopping 64 percent “oppose all third-trimester abortions.” This wave of radical abortion legislation is gathering steam. Illinois, Vermont, and New Mexico are currently considering similar bills. If you live in any of these states, speak up! And pray for an end to this ongoing and intensifying campaign to snuff out innocent life.
