Pro-abortion advocates know what happens if expectant moms actually see their babies… that’s why the ultrasound is a grave threat to their agenda. And, it’s why, after gaining control of the Virginia legislature, pro-choice lawmakers gutted a requirement that women receive an ultrasound and wait 24 hours before having an abortion.
The worry, as one nurse told WORLD Magazine, is that “… without the 24-hour waiting period, abortion businesses will rush women into decisions they’ll later regret.” …including women who don’t necessarily want an abortion.
One woman testified that doctors told her she’d miscarried and they wanted to “remove the baby’s remains from her uterus.” Because the law required she wait 24 hours and get an ultrasound, she discovered the doctors were wrong. She almost aborted her healthy son.
Fearing the overturn of Roe v. Wade, abortion advocates are rushing to change laws and, in the process, will rush women into tragic decisions – in Virginia and elsewhere.
That means: Elections matter.
