Thanks to the generous support of friends like you, hundreds of people will be better equipped to live out a Christian worldview during this year’s sold-out Wilberforce Weekend on May 19–21 at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort in National Harbor, Maryland.
World-class thought leaders on Christianity and culture – like Os Guinness, Ravi Zacharias, Rod Dreher and more – will help us engage our culture with clarity, conviction and compassion – the themes for this year’s conference.
You help make this flagship event possible, and we pray it will swell the tide of Christians who are equipped to live, work and speak for cultural renewal through the power of the Gospel.
A highlight of this year’s conference will be the presentation of the Wilberforce Award to one of the great champions of religious freedom. Each year this award recognizes someone in our day who lives out their faith with bold and thoughtful action – and thereby honors the unparalleled example set by William Wilberforce.
We’re delighted to confirm that this year’s Wilberforce Award will be presented to Alan Sears. As founder and longtime leader of Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), Alan has secured significant advances for religious freedom on the legal battlefield. Under his leadership, ADF won 49 victories at the U.S. Supreme Court, and it wins an average of three out of every four cases in which it participates.
It’s thanks to friends like you that the Wilberforce Weekend has grown to its current size and significance. Through your prayers, support, and dialogue, the Colson Center is privileged to be making critical headway in the lives of individual Christians, churches, communities – and our culture as a whole. So thank you for your partnership!
