Podcast: Teaching a Biblical Worldview, with Joseph Backholm

Our assumptions about what is determine our beliefs of what ought to be. So how a society views the question of human origins (were we created or did we come about by accident?), the purpose of life (following God’s plan or live for happiness and pleasure), the source of morality (a moral law-giver or our own choices) and our ultimate destiny (eternal reward or punishment on the one hand, or oblivion on the other) . . . all of these assumptions shape our view of practically every issue. This is the main argument made by the Colson Center’s Joseph Backholm in his presentation, “Teaching a Biblical Worldview,” which he delivered at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s conference on youth ministry.
