The Point: Chick-fil-A’s “Infiltration” of NYC

Beware of… chicken sandwiches?

“Evil Christians” are oppressing “Secular New Yorkers with Delicious Chicken Sandwiches.”

Okay, so that’s the headline from the Babylon Bee. But it’s referring to an actual headline from the New Yorker: “Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City,” which, according to the article, is due to their “pervasive Christian traditionalism. . . emphasis on community. . .and its mission to glorify God.”

He forgot to add the horror of Chick-fil-A treating employees and customers with respect and being closed on Sundays.

It’s tempting just to laugh and dismiss this ridiculous New Yorker article. But—along with Senator Cory Booker’s recent grilling of Mike Pompeo and California’s new law on gender reversal therapy—it’s another sign of our culture’s growing hostility toward Christianity.

We shouldn’t be surprised. Instead, we should be prepared. And, we should “eat more chicken!”
