Sometimes to expose evil, you have to show it for what it is—or call it out by name. Think of the graphic movie about abortionist Kermit Gosnell. Or David Daleiden recording Planned Parenthood employees as they nonchalantly describe selling the remains of aborted babies.
Some pro-lifers are using a new term to talk about a bill recently approved by California’s legislature, which requires “health centers at state-run universities to dispense abortion-inducing drugs to students.”
The phrase is “toilet bowl abortions.” It’s sounds awful, but it aptly describes the awful results of what the California legislature prefers to call “abortion by medication techniques.”
As Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life America told WORLD Magazine, “These toilet bowl abortions would create havoc on campuses, as girls are sent to their dorm bathrooms to bleed and pass an aborted infant in a toilet, without medical supervision or assistance.”
This phrase will make many folks uncomfortable. But it describes a reality that should make all of us weep.
