All of Scripture points to the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the God of all creation who took on human flesh to restore all things to Himself. And if God Himself took on human flesh, and we are made in His image, then our very bodies, male and female, point to Christ as well.

This, according to Christopher West, is the key to understanding what our bodies are for, including our gender, our sexuality, and marriage itself. They are pointing to God’s story, a story that our sexually confused culture so needs to hear.
